Position Profile:

Postdoctoral researcher with PhD and/or postdoctoral experience in Plant Biochemistry/Molecular Biology. Experience in Medicago truncatula biology, and/or arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi will be valued. Proficiency in either English or Spanish is required.

Description of Work:

The successful candidate will work at Centro de Biotecnología y Genómica de Plantas (www.cbgp.upm.es) in Madrid, Spain. He/she will undertake a multidisciplinary project to study the physiology and biochemistry of M. truncatula transporters involved in metal exchange with associated endosymbionts. This project is part of the ERC Starting grant METALSYM (2014-2019).

Duration of contract:

1 year. Upon positive evaluation, the contract can be renewed on a yearly basis for up to three years.

Salary:

€22500-26000 per annum (final salary depending on qualifications an experience)
